Although some information may have been provided to us in advance it is essential for us to see you in person and to check:
- Your identity,
- Your ability to do what you are doing,
- Your willingness to do so.
We will also need to be clear about what the foreign authority requires. You will therefore have to bring with you at least:
Evidence of Identity
This should be your passport, or if you have no passport a government issued document which bears your photograph, such as an eu photographic driving licence
Proof of Residence
A document which confirms where you live, such as a recent utility bill or bank statement. if you have difficulty producing such original documents we shall need to discuss with you what evidence of identity we need to see to satisfy us that you are the person you say you are.
The Document(s) which require our seal and signature
Please do not sign or have them witnessed beforehand.

Any instructions which have been given by the lawyer who has prepared the document.
Unusual Requirements
These can include unusual requirements, for example, having to sign each page or even the colour of the ink.
